The service sheet
Flat rates for the work we do most, quoted before we touch a wrench. Anything not listed — call and describe the noise, we'll price it on the phone. Parts are billed at cost plus 15%; we show you the receipt.
After-hours calls between 10 PM and 5 AM run $60 above the listed rate. Fleet and livery accounts — ask about the monthly rate for Town Car and Camry fleets out of the airport.

You call and describe it
Year, make, model, and what it's doing. Grinding when you brake? Click on a left turn? Slow crank on cold mornings? That's usually enough for us to know what to load in the van.

We quote before we roll
You get a flat number on the phone, not a range. If the job turns out to be something else once the hood's up, we stop and call you before spending another dollar of your money.

We come to the car
Flushing, Bayside, Whitestone, College Point, Corona, Elmhurst, Forest Hills, Jamaica, and into Manhattan and Brooklyn for a small bridge-and-tunnel add. We need about two parking spaces and a legal spot — you don't need to be there, just leave the keys.

You pay when it drives
Card, Zelle, or cash on the spot. Old parts go in a box in your trunk unless you tell us to take them. Twelve-month warranty on labor, whatever the part maker gives on the part.
Who's coming to your car
A's started in 2011 out of a single van and a set of hand tools, working out of a garage on Maple Ave that we still keep for the jobs that need a lift. The idea was simple and it hasn't changed: most of what goes wrong with a car doesn't need a shop, it needs somebody who knows what they're doing and can get to you before your day is ruined.
We're a small crew — three techs, two vans, one dispatcher who is usually also under a car. Between us there's about forty years on Asian and domestic platforms, and a lot of it is the unglamorous stuff: brakes, batteries, starters, the check-engine light that's been on since March. We do the diagnosis properly, we tell you what actually needs doing now versus what can wait until fall, and we don't sell you a fuel injection cleaning you didn't ask for.
Flushing is home. We know which blocks you can't park on after 4 PM, which lots let us work, and how to get to you from Northern Blvd when the LIE is a parking lot. If you're a livery driver working out of LaGuardia, we'll meet you between runs.
